    Winemaker

At Domaine Artema, every bottle begins with the vision and craft of Winemaker Stéfanie Dylla.

Her journey into wine began with WSET studies and hands-on work in tasting rooms, eventually leading to a degree in Viticulture and Oenology. From harvests in Ontario and New Zealand to the Okanagan Valley, Stéfanie has built her career from the ground up — rising from harvest hand to lead winemaker.

At Domaine Artema, she brings a bold focus to Gamay and Chardonnay, crafting everything from lively, fruit-forward wines to structured, cellar-worthy expressions. Her style blends precision, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to quality — shaped as much in the cellar as in the Muay Thai gym, where she also trains and coaches. Her sidekick Winston, a loyal Lab-Aussie, is always by her side.

Her resume includes senior roles at celebrated destinations like Watermark Beach Resort, Moon Curser Vineyards, and Tinhorn Creek, where she helped launch signature events like the Tinhorn Creek Concert Series and Festival of the Grape. She also played a founding role in what is now the Oliver Osoyoos Winery Association.

At Domaine Artema, Courtney leads with a guest-first mindset, blending strategic vision with hands-on experience to shape a tasting room and wine club experience that is warm, polished, and deeply connected to the spirit of the South Okanagan.
